Resin Reinforce Bridge – The Hybrid Solution for Non-fully Edentulous Cases

We’ve come a long way since the days of traditional dentures and partials, and yet the use of primitive techniques is still prevalent amongst our clientele.

This patient had been wearing a flipper that inhibited his ability to enjoy and express his singing talent. Not only was this not functionally working for his lifestyle, but it was not the most aesthetic option.

Missing papilla created a “black triangle” for this patient that we were able to replace with our Mesh Bar hybrid. Our resin reinforced Mesh Bar also allows us to cantilever back farther than through any other technique.

Although Zirconia has become a common choice, resin is more resilient and creates less stress on the implant. Resin is also the more aesthetic choice with a less opaque and more natural appearance.

This patient had a defect that included bone, teeth, and tissue loss. Note that the color of the patient’s upper bridge is the first step in restoring his smile. The lower teeth can be bleached or crowns can be placed to match the upper teeth. Cupping on the patient’s lower teeth was caused by the porcelain bridge he was previously wearing.

The Benefit of Resin Reinforced Bridge vs. Milled Bar

In this case, you can see the teeth set in wax and matrixed so that we can fit the Mesh Bar in the available space. This would be impossible with a milled bar.

Before resin is added, we have the ability to integrate the resin and the Mesh Bar together, making it the strongest resin reinforced bridge on the market.
